Nadine Fortier is a proud Métis woman, born and raised in the heart of Alberta, Canada. Her deep roots in the Métis community have shaped her identity and inspired a lifelong commitment to preserving and celebrating Indigenous culture.
With a compassionate spirit, Nadine is deeply committed to shining a light on the ongoing crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG2S+). She believes it is essential to honor their memory and ensure that their stories are never forgotten. She is driven by the belief that raising awareness is a vital step toward building a safer and more equitable future for Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people across Canada.
