Welcome to our Native Fabric Collections!
The textile arts of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas are decorative, utilitarian, ceremonial, or conceptual artworks made from plant, animal, or synthetic fibers by Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Textile arts and fiber arts include fabric that is flexible woven material, as well as felt, bark cloth, knitting, embroidery, featherwork, skin-sewing, beadwork, and similar media. (from Wikipedia). Many of the fabric collections represented here are modern versions representing the concepts passed down through generations of First Nations history.
With over 550 choices of fabric from our native fabric collections to choose from, looking for just the right fabric isn’t exactly a lot of fun. We have curated our fabrics into collections organized by like patterns, themes, colours and/or artist to make it easier for you to quickly find the right native fabric theme for your project!
